New Street Fighter Chun-Li Pics

Kudos to the folks over at ComingSoon.net, because thanks to them we now have new pictures of the upcoming Street Fighter film. Specifically the pictures are of the films main character Chun-Li played by Kristin Kreuk. There are five picture total which depict various scenes, three of them action sequences in which one of them CHun-Li uses her signature move.
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is an adaptation of the popular video game from Capcom, and if you didn’t know that please leave now! The film is directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak from a script by Justin Marks (Spelling his name is a lot easier). The movie has a whole bunch of stars in it including Kristin Kreuk (as you already know), Michael Clarke Duncan, Neal McDonough, Taboo, Chris Klein, Edmund Chen, and a lot more whom I will not name right now but just refer you to the link to the films Web page.
The film follows the story of Chun-Li who is searching for inner peace, nah I’m just messing with yah the movie is really about kicking the crap out of bad guys. The basic plot revolves around Chun-Li’s personal history and her pursuit of justice, through beating people senseless.
It is a little to soon to tell if this film will live up to the buzz it has generated, but as of now it’s popularity has grow just a bit bigger.

The only way that an adaptation of SF is going to work is if they go dark with it - real dark. Gritty.
This looks comical and will fail as hard as the first SF movie with Van Damme.

Kreuk? Are you f’ing kidding me? She can’t fight, she can’t act and she’s not Chinese.
Well since there’s NO woman in the world who fits that description then lets just use one of the least likable characters from that teenage Superman show.
Nice going Hollywood. Too bad that there aren’t any Asian women in existence otherwise you could have cast the Grandmommy of fighting games respectably.
Who’s Ryu? Christian Bale? A Jonas brother?

Seems to me alot of movies that should be good and turning out to be crap due to low budget, too bad the only people going after these types of movies are the broke ones.

This movie will fail like the one with Van Damme Before,
The character costume here not even similar to the real character….where’s Ryu,Ken,& Gouki?SF never perfect without these 3…
My Worst Comment about this Movie is for the Director which stupid enough on selecting Cast for the movie..
They should select the cast from Cosplayer around the world for this type of movie,not just selecting actor/actress that famous but not similar to the character in game/anime X_X
Street Fighter also known International which all fighter was mixed,So the actor & actress for this movie should be selected from based country,not just western….
But Overall,this movie is going to be sucks,the same as Dragon ball,Silent Hill & Resident Evil Live actions movie…

As long as Vega has claws, balrog is black, and this Street Fighter movie has a plot (unlike the last one.Van Damme,I’m lookin at you >.>), It wont suk THAT bad. 50 60 percent tops.
60% sukiness being Max Payne, 50% being happy feet. do the math

Vega Masked also too different than the original series,
Original fans might hate this movie due to its twisted from character & story line.Just Hope the costume & Casts was Fit the Character on the game,really hope for the next movie they were chosen from the million of Great Street Fighter Cosplayer not just by selecting a famous actor/actress -_-…
