This fall, the (somewhat) new GoldenEye Reloaded release is expected to be “refined” and “recharged,” with HD features available for Xbox, PlayStation, and Wii systems.
The updated version has an MI6 Ops mode, similar to Modern Warfare 2’s Spec Ops mode. The MI6 Ops mode creates alternate missions separate from those completed in single and multiplayer games, adding variability. Reloaded also offers a multiplayer feature, with 16-player online and voice chat being confirmed.
Golden Eye fans know and love the feeling of completing missions, scurrying throughout places like the Facility, and finally getting their hands on the golden gun. And let’s face it, the Nintendo ’64 version of GoldenEye is considered nothing less than a stroke of genius. The game is accredited for defining the modern first-person shooter video game, which is a revolution in itself.
Anticipating GoldenEye Reloaded gamers have a forum going on Facebook. Some commentators are disgruntled that the game was being released to Xbox in the first place, they claimed GoldenEye should be for Nintendo only. The Facebook page also previously had surveys posted back in March to get feedback for GoldenEye games made in the future.
The trailer gives people an idea of what to expect this fall.
